The Fall of Rome

"The Nation's view of The U.S.Government."

The Republican party has become a few more elections away from being a memory. The landlords of this country are tired of being treated like tenants, so these “Right Wing” occupants are being handed their eviction notices. America’s electoral majority have firmly planted a foot and in front of it drawn a line making it known, “resistance is futile!” Even if the Democrats with their controlling interests do not fulfill campaign promises or expectations, they will not be replaced by Republicans. The GOP have expressed unequivocally an allegiance with corporations and the upper 2%. These “Congressional streetwalkers” are betraying their constituents for a dollar with little concern for lives lost or destroyed.

It has been proven that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. All crooked politicians that have sold their souls, will one day pay a piper. These hypocrites sing with a "star spangled tone" claiming, “Country First”-- have only displayed actions of “bank accounts first.” The people are demanding they be held accountable, the price being political seats, and a dismantling of a party. Smart Republicans are abandoning ship-- they’ve seen the iceberg--becoming Democrats or Independents. But just changing a party does not let them off the hook, if anything it increases scrutiny assuring the voter that the party change was not an act of deception. If the switch proves to be an act of hiding in plain sight, the constituents will act accordingly.

The GOP since Reagan, has increasingly treated this country like the man that beats his wife for years, and gets mad at the doctor for not being able to quickly fix her wounds. The present Republican Party, “The Party of No”, is becoming the one with “no Party.” In the last appointments to “The Hill” , voters tired of government exploitation decided that, “all roads will not lead to misrepresentation.”

With national pride and admiration, Will Rogers believed the U.S. Congress was the best in the world--often saying it was, “the best Congress that money can buy.” These words and beliefs are still so very true! But with each year and new election, the elected increasingly forget who they work for and we’ve forgotten how to remind them. Many elected officials show a blatant disregard for the political process and should be stripped from their positions! If this reckless form of governing is allowed, it will dismantle the sociopolitical structure of the United States. These “hired guns” are devoid of ruth, and should be exposed for who and what they are, “a clear and present danger to the world!”

UHHHH Republicans just swept In Virginia and won as Governor In New Jersey . But I still want a third party as I think neither party Is a viable alternative these days . Don,t throw dirt on the grave of the GOP yet !

You are right! They have forgotten why they were elected and who they are supposed to represent. They are hypocrites. However there is hope, instead of taking the dictator role like our previous president, we now have a President who is willing to listen to the people.

I agree too. They have forgotten and they definitely need to be reminded. Out with the old and in with the new. At least our president now is trying his best to make some positive changes for all people. Tony it may be too soon to start throwing dirl on the grave of the GOP but there is always hope !

I've known all along that the GOP were out to hurt the country, but after reading your piece today,I'm more convinced than ever of it. Knowing that we can kick them out of office just by voting for the right person should make them realize that the people in this country are tired of broken promises from both parties.I'm all for a third party system because it really does give us choices at the polls.
